Maurice Sendak, one of the most renowned authors/illustrators throughout childrens books. One of his most prestigious story in my eyes is 'Where the wild things are'. The detailed artwork that aids the overall feel of the story and visually creates a direct impact with the context of children. Taking inspiration from his work and generating a similar subtle style, directed and children is something I want to capitalise within my own work.
